Jenifer Hoffman is a third-generation Benningtonian with humble roots. Her great-grandfather owned & operated a beloved corner grocery store (Yott’s Market), which Jenifer listed and sold in 2016. She grew up watching and listening to her dad run his carpet cleaning business. This inspired her entrepreneurial spirit at a young age.
She received her BA in American Studies from Siena College in 2004 and MA in Counseling & Community Psychology from Sage Graduate School in 2008.
In 2011, she became a full-time licensed salesperson, and in 2015 earned her broker’s license. She’s been a top producer in the Bennington area for the past 10 years. Jenifer stepped into leadership for her local association in 2019, serving as South Central Vermont Board of Realtors (SCVBR) president in 2020, the same year that she founded Hoffman Real Estate. She has served on the Vermont Association of Realtors (VAR) Executive Committee, Government Affairs Committee, Member Engagement Committee (past chair), and Professional Standards as a hearing panelist.
She has received many awards for her commitment to excellence, including the Emerging Leaders Award by the Southern Vermont Young Professionals in 2020, Realtor of the Year for both SCVBR and VAR in 2021, and her brokerage was the Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce’s Member of the Year 2022.
Jenifer completed the prestigious National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy (NARLA) in 2023. She now serves on the NARLA Advisory Group, where she is helping to identify and mentor the next two rounds of aspiring leaders.
She lives with her husband (Jon) and their German Shepherd (Rex) in North Bennington, Vermont. Jon is a builder and general contractor with 40+ years of experience. Together they designed and physically built their own home, which is an Efficiency Vermont certified home, powered by solar, on a 40 acre hayfield. She is living her dream and walking the walk as a GREEN designee. When she’s not selling real estate or training her agents, you’ll find her wearing a toolbelt building new homes, cooking, reading, or traveling the world.

After over ten years in corporate information technology management, David made the transition into real estate in 2000. He brought extensive building and remodeling experience combined with my technology background to my passion for real estate. Going on twenty-one years practicing in the area, he have helped hundreds of people successfully buy and sell homes. His experience as a real estate investor and landlord has served clients in their real estate investments. He is a full time REALTOR who is actively involved in both his community and Realtor organizations.
He serves his real estate community with pride and takes the Realtor® code of ethics to heart, serving on the local and state professional standards boards and as a mediator and ombudsman. 2024 marked his nineteenth year in leadership with positions on the Multiple Listing Service board (VREIN), his local REALTOR board and state and national associations. He is currently the Vermont Association of REALTORS president-elect and a National Director for the National Association of REALTORS.
In 2024 VAR awarded him with the Robert J. Arkley Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledging him as a widely recognized leader and a dedicated professional within the real estate community, consistently upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. This prestigious award has only been bestowed four times. In 2013 he was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Service Award, recognized as a REALTOR member who has gone above and beyond to serve the industry. David is one of only eleven members to have been recognized for this achievement. In 2009 he was honored by the Northwest Vermont Realtor Association (NVRA) as their Realtor® Of The Year, an award that recognizes an individual for their leadership in their community and their unparalleled professionalism. In 2011, he served as President of NVRA and also graduated from the 2010-2011 National Association of Realtors® Leadership Academy, the first Vermonter to have done so.
Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin appointed David in 2011 to a five-year term as a Commissioner on the Vermont Real Estate Commission. His ongoing work on the Commission earned him a re-appointment from the Governor in 2016 for another term which concluded in 2019. The Real Estate Commission is a seven-member Board created by the Legislature whose members are appointed by the Governor to administer the laws for this profession in the State of Vermont. The Board's mission is public protection. In this role, he was actively involved at the international level with real estate regulators around the world through the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO). He served as the President of this organization in 2018 and was elected Member Emeritus in 2020.
David continues to serve the profession as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for two national real estate exam providers and one of the country’s largest education providers. In this role he assists in the development of examination and education content.
He am an active supporter of several non-profits, including regular sponsorships of events and performances. Artisan Realty of Vermont supports ECHO Leahey Center, the Bryan Memorial Gallery, Rebuilding Together Greater Burlington, and the St. Michael’s Playhouse. He and his wife, Nicole, support several non-profit organizations including the Vermont Land Trust, Spectrum, COTS, MS Society, ECHO, The Flynn, and the United Way.

Tg has been a Realtor® for over 20 years in New Jersey, and most recently moving to Vermont where his market area is the south-central region. During his time in the industry, he has held many local, state, and national leadership positions.
