Sarah has combined experienced that helps her navigate agents & clients through the real estate process by having a current pulse on the local market and politics to effectively coach them with available options. As a Gallup Certified Clifton Strengths Coach, Sarah is adept at working with people’s strengths to tailor and systemize processes to make it a seamless experience. Sarah has served as President of the REALTOR® Association of Central Massachusetts, is a Golden R PC Investor in RPAC and graduate of the National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy.

DAVID McCARTHY

David McCarthy has been a key member of the Boston real estate community as well as a respected REALTOR and industry leader for more than a decade. He is currently the Operating Partner/Broker for Keller Williams Realty, with prime locations in the Back Bay, Beacon Hill, South End in Boston as well as Framingham and Newton.
David oversees nearly 400 agents affiliated with his offices in the greater Boston area who are quickly gaining more and more market share. His team has enjoyed exceptional growth over the past year; due, he thinks, to the incredible amount of sales tools and training that he and his team leaders provide their agents. David is confident that the “Keller Williams Way” of investing in its brokers not only helps with increasing agent performance office, but also with company growth, as well.
Recently David was installed as the 2022 President-Elect of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. In 2015 he served as President of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR), the largest local realtor board in Massachusetts.
In addition in 2020, David received the Realtor of the Year award from both the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR). MAR has over 24,000 members and serves our colleagues and communities by advancing the capabilities of our peers and supporting legislation that protects property owners and REALTORS® across the Bay State.
Aside from his work in the real estate industry, David also has a knack for promoting the free exchange of content and ideas. He believes that one’s ability to build a solid network is one of the most important business skills to have, and he enjoys teaching others how to do it more efficiently. As Such David serves as Chairperson of the Planning Board in Canton, MA.
David has enjoyed much success as in his field, and feels compelled to pay his knowledge forward to the next generation of industry leaders. He’s working on plans to create a training school for real estate agents, confident that curriculum is essential for them to stay current with evolving trends and best practices, as well as advance their skills in an incredibly competitive industry.
David McCarthy grew up in Scituate, Massachusetts, and attended Suffolk University, where he studied accounting. Early in is career, he worked in for specialty retailers Jordan Marsh, TJX Corporation, and Henri Bendel. He believes that industry’s focus on excellent customer service provided him many of the skills he uses today. David also worked as a property manager for Chamberlain Property Management, and credits that position for sparking his interest in entering the real estate field and then running his own business. David and his Husband Dr. Alan Rapoport have chosen to make Canton, MA their home.
His passion for real estate, business, and collaboration makes him a valuable ally to have in the Boston area, and well beyond.

Theresa Hatton, CAE, RCE is the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Vice President of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS. Previously, Theresa served as the Executive Vice President of the Greenwich Association of REALTORS and the Greenwich Multiple Listing Service, Inc. Theresa joined the Greenwich Association in January 2010.
Prior, Theresa served for four years as the Executive Vice President of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS in Franklin, TN. Theresa has substantial association management experience, working as the Director of Chapter Support for the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers and the Director of Marketing for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. Prior to her non-profit experience, Theresa served as the Director of Marketing for a number of start-up telecommunication and software companies.
In 2013 Theresa was named a 40-under-40 award recipient in non-profit management by the Fairfield Business Journal. In 2015 Theresa was the recipient of the NAR Association Executives Leaders of the Future award. Theresa has a BA in Economics from Colgate University and earned her MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. She has a witty, logical and literal teenaged daughter named Emma, an amazing partner, Bryan, and two precious labradoodles named Kailey and Zoey.
