Alan DeStefano has been REALTOR® for over 20 years Alan is the Broker and Owner of Granite Group Realty Services and Lake Area Properties, specializing in single family, multi-family , commercial brokerage and property management since 2007. Alan has been a National Association of REALTORS® RPAC investor since 2000, a major investor since 2011, and a Presidents Circle member since 2017. In 2013 Alan joined the Board of Directors for NAR and served on The NAR Risk Management Committee. In 2014 Alan joined the NAR Participation Council and continues to serve as a member in 2018. Alan also serves as a zoning board member and current chair in Bristol, NH since 2010. Alan is an avid supporter of his local community center, Bristol Police Canine Program, Military K-9 program and charities throughout central New Hampshire. Alan is married to his wife Denice for 33 years they reside in Bristol, NH on Newfound Lake and in Florida, they have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Gene Fercodini’s decades long real estate career includes his involvement on many levels in a variety of facets for his local Association, the CT REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and his community.

On the local level Gene was awarded REALTOR® of the Year in 2007, served as 2008 Local Board President, Chair/Member of numerous local board committees including: Executive, Finance, RPAC, Programs, Awards, Public Relations, Legislative/Political Affairs, Education, Forms, HOMES Magazine, Facilities Advisory, and Community Service.

At the state level Gene served as the Connecticut REALTORS® President in 2011, was Chair of the CT REALTORS® Care Foundation in 2017, was awarded the prestigious State REALTOR® of the Year in 2008, served as CTR Treasurer 2008-2009, has been a CTR State Director from 2005-present, and has Chaired and/or been a member of numerous CTR committees including: Finance, RPAC Trustees, Political Fundraising, Legislative, Issues Advocacy and Business Planning.

Gene’s involvement with the National Association of REALTORS® includes serving as NAR Director 2010-2013, 2016, and being a member of several other NAR Committees since 2005 including: RPAC Trustees Fundraising, REALTOR® Party Member Involvement, RPAC Participation Council, NAR Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction, Housing Opportunity and Risk Management. Gene participated in the NAR “Housing for All” Symposium in July 2016 and is a member of NAR’s RPAC Hall of Fame and President’s Circle. He has been the FPC for Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty from 2013-2018 and currently for Congresswoman Jahana Hayes.

Gene has always been heavily involved with his community as well. He was a founding member of the Wolcott Circle of Sports, is a member of the Elks Club and Lions Club, served on the Waterbury Advisory Board for the Savings Bank of Danbury, the Baseball Association of Wolcott, the Wolcott Education Association and the Wolcott Fair Land Development Committee. He and his wife Linda reside in Wolcott and are the proud parents of two adult children and a beautiful granddaughter.

He has been a member of the NAR Board of Directors since 1984 and a member of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® Board of Directors since 1981.In 1995 he was the Massachusetts Association of Realtors’® Milton H. Kurt Thompson, a broker with Keller Williams Realty - North Central in Leominster, is the 2019 President-Elect of the 25,000-member Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR).

Prior to his election, Thompson served as the 2018 MAR Treasurer. In 2017, he served as the 2017 MAR Professional Development Vice President, the MAR Legal Affairs/Member Benefits focus area Vice President in 2015 and 2016, the Professional Development focus area Vice President in 2014, and the Communications/Technology focus area Vice President in 2013. Thompson was the 2016 State Chair Northeast Region of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS). A member of the MAR Board of Directors since 2010, Thompson has been involved with several MAR committees and task forces over the years. Thompson was the chairperson of the Finance Committee and a member of the Strategic Planning, Professional Standards and Investment Committees in 2018.  In 2012, he was named the MAR Realtor® of the Year and in 2014, Thompson was the CRS of the Year, Massachusetts Chapter CRS. 

On the local level, Thompson was the 2011 President of the North Central Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (NCMAR).  He served as the Association’s Treasurer from 2007 to 2009, and again in 2012 and served on the NCMAR Board of Directors from 2007 to 2012. 

At the national level, Thompson will chair the 2019 Regulatory Issues Forum.  He has previously served on the National Association of Realtors® Board of Directors in 2016 and 2017.  Thompson was a member of the Strategic Thinking Advisory Committee and the Local Leadership Idea Exchange Council in 2017.  He also served as chair of the Small Boards Forum that year.

Rita Coffey served as 2018 President of the 24,000-member Massachusetts Association of Realtors® and is the general manager at CENTURY 21 Tullish & Clancy in Weymouth. Prior to her term as president, Coffey served as 2017 president-elect. In 2016, she was the South Shore Region vice president of MAR. Coffey has been a member of the MAR Board of Directors as either a Director or Alternate Director since 2004 and has been a Realtors® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Trustee for a number of years. In 2015, Coffey was the chair of the MAR RPAC Trustees, and she has been the Chair of the Professional Standards, Communications and Public Relations and Forms Content Advisory Committees. Stephanie has deep roots in the area and is very committed to her customers and clients as evidenced by her designations as an ABR® (Accredited Buyers Representative) and SRS® (Seller’s Representative Specialist) as well as certification as a RENE® (Real Estate Negotiations Expert).   She says, “Many of my clients and customers are friends and neighbors I’ve known for over 30 years, so well I’m assisting them with selling their home or buying a new one, it’s important that I treat them right!  It’s no different with my out of state buyers, I try to make them feel comfortable and right at home immediately.  I’m very casual and down to earth…no frills, no pomp and circumstance, just a down-home country girl, and I think that puts people at ease right away.” 

Stephanie grew up Orwell, raised her family in Orwell and live there now with her husband, Rex on their beautiful 170 acre estate with incredible views of the Adirondacks and Green Mountains, hence the name of her agency, Adirmont.

She has proven abilities in navigating not only the intricacies of government agencies but also the labyrinth of grass roots community involvement. Demonstrating her skills in knowing how to mobilize unconnected people and create effective programs, she implemented a ground breaking recycling program across the US National Park system; saved millions of kilowatt hours of energy on dairy farms throughout the country; established the framework of donations management during a declared disaster for the State of Vermont and designed communication strategies which resulted the passage of critical bonds for Vermont schools. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Vermont Association of Realtors®.
